Finally got my new tiger fish he is a little batterd dueing to living with a large snakehead, he is 10" and chunky. One of his eyes has a cloudy film over the top of it he done it in the net and was wondering the best treatment for it will get pictures up soon please post pictures of your atf tanks for a little idea of the best enviroment for him.

photos please.

keep the water perfect, add salt. if the damage is small or just started, will heal up within a week.

make a current.

break up the tank in areas with ground barriers. this breaks the current as well as keeps them less nervous. I took out barriers when the fish started outgrowing the tank and noticed a pick up in slashings and over all aggresion towards one another.

is the atf or the snake head 10" and what's the other fish's size? what kind of snake head?

Aquarium Salt for the cloudy eye should fix it. It happends during shipping from the plastic bags I assume.

As long as he eats he will be fine. ATFs live in waters with strong current. I have all my current pointing in the same direction, thats how I like it. Plus it racks up most of the "Pooh" on one side of the tank

Pics and Congrats (You should be given a Ticket for Stealing Candy from a baby:D)

haha cheers west he was a steal and much chunkier than i fort he would be the current is fine at the moment and mad ness, his old tankmate was a 14" red line snakehead, he is now living with a large pleco and a bichir so no more beatings for him :). I do not have aquriam salt will normal sea salt do the job will get pics up soon. What is the best tank mates for him as ive had enough of single fish tanks.
