apparently its not a asian aro, its jar which is why its cheap, I think I will have to pay about the same price , ie $40 for an asian aro, but I think its for the 2nd grade one, few days ago I saw it being sold at size 2", for about $28, but for the SR is much more expensive. I think I could get SR cheaper couse I have some connections here. A friend of mine told me that a rare golden aro just arived on the lfs here, its so rare and expensive couse the aro has no eye. Weird huh..

Nice fish, I think only asian arowana are illegal in the U.S.

ic so jars still legal then

All those prices are cheap in comparison to what other Asians, Canadians, and Europeans have to pay for these. Get it if you can provide the space and care and dont have him with your little guy. The little guy would look like a tasty Molly to him.

nowadays I'm looking for possible SR around that size, I hope it will cost less.

Whoa man! $7 for a jardini??? Here in M'sia the cheapest arowana costs MYR28 which is a silver... A jardini here cost MYR88 cheapest... And I did some research and jardinis also come from Pualau Irian which is New guinea.

Good luck with it bro

OH MY GAWD SUPER RED FOR WHAT PRICE? GEEEZUZ that is very inexpensive! here in the U.S. they are illegal, but two of my friends in Canada got a super red and paid $1,000 for a baby! 250 is a great price in my eyes!

And your baby jardini is beautiful! 100 gallons for life? I think your gonna need a bigger tank for that baby! :)

beautiful aro and best of luck with him!

thanks guys, I hope I'll be able to house the jar in that 100 g tank, for a while before I move into another place and get a bigger tank, most SR that are sold here started from that price, thats just for a regular SR, all with certificate, but some would cost more but still cheaper than what you guys probably have to pay in your country, I think is the shipping cost that would double or triple the cost.
You may want to live here, ever since everything is cheap and dont worry we have Bali if you ever get bored.
I think I'm not gonna buy the SR unless I have a good tank and a good filter otherwise I will regret it at the end of the day.
Some of the hobbyist here invest their money to buy a smaller SR and when they grow up they would sell it with a good price too, do you guys do this too?
