Recently aquired a baby Ck he was pritty beatin up and skinny but after a few weeks he is looking good now. He is in a small tank by himself at the moment till he gets bigger. I am a little concerned however when the time comes to put him in with the larger CK.

Has anyone ever experienced problems introducing a new Ck into a tank with a larger CK around 7inches now?

First pic is larger one
Second is the baby

Great looking clowns! Nice amount of spots!

Thanx, my husband brought him home thought it might be a royal ck, he wasnt sure all he remembered was they have alot of spot like detail. Godbless him he knows how much i would like to get ahold of a royal but this little guy is nice dont see too many CK's around here let alone with that many spots, so he did good :)

Yeah not a good idea... my 75 was planted with a pice of slate up against the side for my 8in ck, and then i added my 4in ck with a smaller pice of slate in the corner so he was the only one that could get in, and the bigger ck knocked over the small pice of slate to get to the small CK and then all hell broke loose, luckly i kinda awake and grabed the small ck out. he is almost 5 in now and i got to try it again, cuz soon he is going to start eating all the fish in my community tank...

I just added a 6" Royal knife to a tank with an 19" Clown...so far there have been no problems

I had the baby in with the big ck at first there was no bad aggression just a little shoving at first. But the baby wasnt getting any food so i had to remove him. Figure i'll wait a month or so depending on how fast he grows and make sure he is eating krill as that is what the big ck eats, the baby is only taking pellets as of now wont eat anyting else yet. Keeping my fingures crossed I have no problems putting him back into the large tank.

Looks good :

nice pickup
