I got my first Poly today. It's a ~3" Delhezi. I'm curious as to what I should feed him. I have some hikari sinking carnivore pellets but I think they're too big for him. I'll go pick up some frozen bloodworms tomorrow. What else will put some size and meat on this little guy rapidly?

Mine eat Massivore, I have to break the pallets up still as they are to large, but the my dels are shooting up in size.

Looks nice though.
Have you considered using a dark substrate, I have found that a dark substrate makes there markings show much nicer then when they are living on a light colour substrate, where there markings fade.

I just put this substrate, just switched from gravel. If I switch it won't be for a long time. I'm considering making the tank blackwater though. My plan is to get more congo tetras, I have 6 right now, a second bichir, an african brown knife and 3 leopard ctenopomas.

Congo tetras are nice, i have found out the hard way that they just arnt big enough to avoid being bite sized for a large Del though.

It will be a long time before they can be eaten. I'm really enjoying the congo's though. They school very tight. I have 6 right now but I might add 10 more.

You guys using omega one, are you using the Small Super Cichlid sinking pellets?
