Is this baby a Obliquidens Hap or is it a Astatitilapia Latifasciata..sorry for the lousy pics .old camera ..new camera batteries are charging.he is in quarenteen and stressed ..lost some color but maybe you can tell me his ID..bought him as a Obliquidens Hap.. is he a male or female..{i think he is male} thanks !

It had black stripes in the store but they have faded since i brought him home ..he was sold to me as a Obliquidens Hap ..so

I am bringing my baby back up because the most amazing thing happened before my eyes so quick i took these lousy pics..no time to aim..;lol the baby looked like this then this and then this ..in seconds i got to see all these black bars from him head to tail .. he did it as soon as someone came near the squash he was eating... i also noticed his tail and fins are getting red.. i think he is going to be a real beauty ..does this help with ID?

wow Liz-he is going to be a beauty! he does look like a Obliquidens Hap, but i only own one victorian right now (a flameback hap) so im certainly a novice by all means.

i can definately see his red starting to show!
