thats cool, I bought a "native" bass about a month ago, but I can't tell is its a large or small mouth yet.

I'm only power feeding till he grows to about 5 inchs so he can go with my TSN and not be a meal, and I can get him out of his small 20 gallon.

Yep, no doubt, hes already about 3.5 inchs now, and now is wider then the slightly larger RTC x TSN thats with him

He's looking good. I would feed him a lot of krill and some frozen shrimp. The natural red colors in the shrimp with get that tail nice and bright in no time.

It's the same thing that turns Flamingo's pink. Without it they would be white.

For the shrimp, I just buy the frozen cooked stuff at walmart, deveined with the tail off. The same stuff that you or I would eat. Raw has more nutrition, but I've found it to be messier.
