haha yeah good point. were i got him they had it in a tank with a rtc/tsn that was about twice his size there were selling it for 11 bucks. i was tempted to get him too but. i was unsure about them i heard they were very skittish and he seemed to be. oh well one monster is enough for now

Awe I remember when mine was that small about 8 months or so ago now he's about 2 feet! Enjoy they are awesome cats if you can house them
 
right now hes in a 60 gallon but that probally will only last for 4 months
 
he finally came out of his log to feed. hes doing very well. i honestly think he had a growth spurt last night. he looka a full half inch bigger. haha
 
Mine has grown from 2.5", to 5" in a month. They are very fast growers for sure. BE PREPARED EARLY, or you'll be doing this :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: trying to find a place to put it when it starts eating those danios.

yeah i already have it planned out were hes going. and my pictus cat has been making short work of them already. went from 13 to 6 in a week. got them for .40 cents so no big deal. fancy feeders :)
 
doesn't look like an inch to me, coz if it is then those tetras might be atom sized. looks like maybe 4 to 5"?
