nice rtc.. i have been meaning to ask those of you who own rtcs, what do you do when they outgrow your tank? dont they get 4 feet long, and about 200 lbs? you cant release it in the wild....

This RTC is awesome!!! He eats rockfish fillets (cut up) we catch from the Channel Islands directly out of my hands and I've only had him for 3 days! Is it popular for RTCs to do this? He comes over right away and grabs them from my fingers. Pai Mei is definetly a Kung Fu master! *Stoked*

The only options are to house him properly (very expensive) or donate him to a local aquarium. The problem with donating is that too many people raise these fish and lots of aqariums will not take them. Mine, of course I plan on keeping for the duration of his life. Possibly a 1000-1500gal pond eventrually. We will see. I've already fallin in love with it. Such a cool species of cat.
my rtc has is in a tank with a 2" pleco and has been for a whille with 1 about 4" and my rtc is around the 10 " mark
