Nice buy. I would buy some of those 3 inchers for sale in So Cal too, but I have a black that's already about 15 inches. No place to grow them out either.

I love my black arowana though. So far he's my favorite of all the arowanas I've had over the years. I really like the tail when they're bigger, rather than a silver's.

Give the guys at River Wonders a call. Right now they are running a special 3 Baby Black Aros for $150 (average length 3.5 inches). Of course that doesn't include the $59.00 FedEx overnight fee.

But since they also have 3.5 inch Silvers for $25 (wild caught) I added 2 of them to my order. They arrived here this morning at 9:40 and after drip acclimation were taking FD blood worms.

I love watching them eat...they strike like little bitty rattlesnakes.
