Saw one for sale yesterday,3" max and was£145 english pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers steve
Yeah, the damn things are expensive! But worth it. I think I paid about 200 USD including shipping. You've got a great collection, one of these would be a good addition. Thanks for the comments!

Dude, it's awesome!! Just saw a great piece on the Discovery Channel "River Monsters" about these. Are you aware that they get to be 10ft or more long and can put on 10lbs a year? They can live for 30 years or more. Keep us posted, these are awesome.

Thanks venmus, ive got two more polys now,got to update my sig
There is a 12" one for sale on the english classifieds but its £275!!!,which i suppose is not too bad compared to the other one lol
but i will get one soon!

Bigumbees,what gets to ten feet?

if this is the same fish you're updating, how big is it? its for sure not a yarelli, but a bagarius bagarius or bagarius rutilus
Its the same fish I've been updating....its about 5.5 inches total length. I can take some newer macro photos of any parts of its taxonomy if it would help you ID it. Thanks for looking. Do you have any photos of Bagarius bagarius (or for that matter rutilus) by the way? There's certainly not too many on the internet that I can find.
