just keep one bass and catch some bluegill, catfish, crappie, ect to go with but just dont use city water. and room temp suits them just fine. no need for a heater. just buy a good filter or two and let em loose. i love mine
Bass are great to keep just like the rest of the other speices of fish you want, trout on the other hand are really not that easy to keep unless you have chillers and even then its still hard to keep but it can be done. Think BIG and get BIG tanks or even indoor/outdoor ponds will do just for the Bass of course!
I have kept trout back in Scotland when i was a kid and that is where i learned alot about them, now that i have grown up and understand the aquarium much better, i know now what it takes to keep these guys going.
