I just got a 6 or so inch XB. I am looking for ideas on what to feed him. He has just come in last night however has not eaten. No superworms however as I I want to get this guy on pellets as quickly as possible.

as the fish is new to you you dont know how long he has not eatern for

i would give him a good feed on meal worms or earth worms then you know he fed then start feeding just pellets see what happens for a week

I'm not sure if you've read this ,or not, Tim but ,ultimately, you want to get it to eat anything containing spirulina to bring out the blue hues:

Gut loading or pellets that have spirulina would be your best bet.
