Hey Rudy,
Kenta here, good to hear the fish is eating!
What i usually do for new arrivals is to first let them settle for a couple days, no food introduced at all. After a couple days they are pretty hungry so i start them off with live crickets. THe movement and scrambling of their legs seems to trigger a really strong feeding response. After they had their fill of crickets for a couple days they usually jump at the crickets as soon as they hit the water. So, i mix up the crickets with pellets, ive always used hikari floating pellets with good results (broken in half), by the time they realize its not a cricket they;ve already eaten the pellet! Voila pellet trained!
After a few days of hefty pellet, cricket and mealworm feeding i mix it up more with prawn and other seafoods. Good luck!
