BD=Leo. Same ray slight different characteristics. If I remember it's based off perimeter spotting with 2 rows of spots and belly spotting. I think collection point was the initial difference so geographic isolation. This most likely resulted in a limited gene pool of BD hence the more pronounced traits. In my mind any BD can look like a Leo and any Leo can look like a BD. You can breed pure Leo's and end up with an offspring that looks like BD and vice versa. The look BD to me

So Marbles = Motoros? IF you were to call my Marbles "Motoros" I'd take it as an insult, cause it's pretty obvious they aren't plain ol Motoros. IF I was to take plain ol Motoros and sell them as Marbles would I or would I not be false advertising?
You see the belly spotting? Blue eyes? Spotting around the eyes? 3 rows of perimeter spots? Short "flag" tail?

Arguments rage about Bd vs Leo on here from years back, it just goes to show the contentious nature of the difference, if the owners sees the value and difference then fair enough, let the beauty be in the eye of the beholder.
I love dark black rays with big white spots, the fewer the better but that is just my choice.
