Ich, also known as 'White Spot', is a parasite that attaches itself to the body and gills of fish, and reproduces quickly and on a large scale if not treated (killed). It will present itself as small visible white bumps on the fishes body and fins.

Best article on the net about Ich.

also ich is fair easy to cure
salt method usually works but there are a range of chemical treatments available

always try salt first
its far less harmful to fish

I thought raising the temp to 84 was cool also i salted the aquarium properly maybe im just freakin out because these are my newst fish and i want them to grow out bad i wont ever feed them live foods, but i was wondering beside dry pellets are guppies ok, i dont want to put no other fish because thats how ich is introduced and i dont want that, i did a 50% water change and plan to do so every 7 days (to have them get huge fast and to keep water quality pristine). it probably isnt ich though but i dont play no games you know:D

I would just keep an eye on them, do water changes, raise the Temp and salt the tank for now. 84 might now be high enough though. I usually raise mine to about 88-90 but ask others before you do that and make sure u add enough salt. I use 1 heaping tablespoon for each 5 gallons of water and when you do water changes add that salt back based on how much water you take out. One more thing, do you have a power head in that tank for extra Oxygen?

i have two xp2 canisters on a 75 gallon so that provides water flow i also have a airpump with 18 inch airline to create oxygen throughout the tank so my oxygen is paramount

The white spots of ich don't manifest themselves until the ich in the skin have multiplied to the point where hundreds are ready to burst from the fishes body. They cannot be killed while incased in the fish. It is when they burst that they are vulnerable to treatment (also when they come out of dormency froim the gravel).
This is why extended treatment is needed. If you can get access to a salinity meter, make sure your salinity concentraion is at least 3ppt (parts per thousand) 3ppt is lethal to thte tomites, under is not totally effective.(sea water is @35ppt)
