thank you everyone!..he is doing great getting stronger and can now stay upright and fight the slow current of his filter!..doing great Ill get more pics soon.
update pics!!..he is turning in to a little monster..always interacting with us and noming his way threw tons of baby shrimp..he now can swim normally in the minimal flow of the filter.
..he has so many colors its crazy..and hard to get a good pic of it.....he has taken to attacking the blue ramshorns in the tank..flaring and wiggling at them...something i have seen most of my bettas do.

What lighting do you use for that? I'd love to plant my 5g and throw on a light but all the smaller LEDs are pretty pricey.

he looks spoiled rottenand even prettier!
he has gone threw about 50 shrimp so far..lots of blood worms who were living in the tank and he even goes after the few planaria we had in the tank...he is getting very feisty flaring at snails, his reflection and very attentive to any movement going on around this tank.
its a fuluval power compact...we are planning on adding another light to it soon but for now it does pretty well.
