Where the hell were you yesterday? I woke up this morning and the male had done a number on the female. They now have seperate living arangements.

i have an all red crowntail. i find he is MUCH more agro than my regular blue betta .. there is another one i want it is a black bodu with a dark purple at the base of the fins and the crimson crown fins.. very pretty

hey ewurm, from your pics. your betta isnt a crowntail, but a super delta. Does the fin opens up till 180 degrees? If yes, than its a halfmoon..

I bred bettas before, and sold them to the lfs when the fries have grown up.

The eggs will hatch in a day or 2, then by the 3or 4th day from the mating date, you can remove the dad once you see that the fries are swimming horizontally.

Hatch those brine shrimp eggs, and you can start to feed them the day after they are swimming horizontally.

Ya, that old impulse thing gets me at the strangest times too. That's how I ended up with cockatiels and iguanas the first time around! Siamese ff are really neat to watch though
