Don't really seem that hard to find, just gotta know where to look for them! LoL! Gorgeous hamplas! They do get large, and quick! Full of spunk too! Love them!

Hey Peanut what you feed yours on? Cos mine havn't grown quick at all, and what ive read on them not really quick growing.H dispar i had on other hand grew at a good rate.:)

Don't have any, had a chance to get some, passed it up. Might could still get some, not sure at the moment though.

Earthworm sticks, and arowana sticks help oodles with growth I guess...lol. Live feeders beef them up quickly as well. Of course, having them in a 400 gal + tank is sure to help some.

i feed mine live feeders and krill. i got em at 2 inches and now are 5 inches in two months (!). i keep them with WC Clarias batrachus so i'll just wait and see who eats who first (just kidding).

haha and ur saying thats not fast growth? dude they like tripled in mass in 2 months :P

i got mine at like 1.5 inch and r now 3.5 a month later...

feeding them mostly a variation of different worm kinds

chunks of earth worms, sometimes some bits of fish, pellets, and a a very colorful array of all sorts upper downer screamers laughers....
um scratch that i mean lots of different mosquito larvae... (watched fear and loathing last night)

Yeh feeders always produce good growth rates, not really easy to get feeders at a decent price over here, to feed all the time.:)

o sorry wain I thought u were the one that said they havent grown much but that was someone else...
