So I just got a BGK from Petsmart and put him in my quarantine tank and he inspected it for about 5 minutes. Now he's just laying down sideways on the bottom of it.

He should be fine. My bgk is always laying on his side on the bottom. Give him something to hide under a little.

He has a slight cut in his fin about 3/4 the way down his body. But other than that nothing seems wrong. He didn't eat the frozen brine shrimp cube I tried to feed him, but I imagine that's because he might've already been fed.
He was probably too stressed to eat anyway. Give him a day or two to settle down some. If you give him a hiding spot that will help him calm down more. You'll find they are very neat fish and can be trained to eat from your hand.

He's about 4in right now and he's been out and about today. I'll post a pic tomorrow when he comes out from hiding again lol. I need to get a clear tube for him

Yea I have some freeze dried blood worms for my bichir in my main tank. The lady at petsmart said that he'd like the frozen brine better so i got some. I'll try different things.
