new bichir pick-up ID please

Picked up this lil guy from my LFS today they didnt know the ID anyone have a clue?

Chill what would you guys recommend feeding him? the guy at the store said massivore

Massivore is good for a staple diet, but try to add some other meaty foods every once in a while. What size tank do you have for it?

masivore, shrimp,tailapia fillets, and if you want too bulk them up beef heart

Depending on whether it is CB or WC, you may need to go bigger than that. And as the others have already pointed out, it looks extremely skinny (looks like it's been months since its last feeding).

Edit: and just to be sure there's no confusion, I meant bigger than the 100 gal.

And I agree with icherno7 on feeding, although I wouldn't want to feed beefheart on a regular basis (a lot of people say that mamalian proteins are not good for fish to consume, and although I haven't seen any proof of it, I wouldn't want to take that chance).

i put a few feeders in their and hes just staring at them lol. i heard a splash but i cant tell if he snapped or if it was my tin foil barbs..
