Try frozen bloodworms. Most petstores should have them.

i put a few feeders in their and hes just staring at them lol. i heard a splash but i cant tell if he snapped or if it was my tin foil barbs..

Don't give any of your fish feeders from a store, they could introduce diseases, parasites, etc. into your tank.

I wouldn't bother with bloodworms, they won't be enough once it gets bigger, so you may as well just start it off with whatever food you plan on feeding it for the rest of its life (like sinking pellets, krill, shrimp, etc.).

good choice i got mine the sinking ones... that way they dont float around the tank as much
