New bichir pics (endlicheri and lapradei)

Very sweet setup and fish!! How often do the bichirs burrow into the substrate? When i get my new tank i am going to switch to a much smaller type of gravel so my bichirs can do this too (looks like they have fun hiding under there ) also so they can get the red worms that burrow before they can catch them. the worms will have nowhere to hide..... wahaha.

did you name your one eyed endi??

Thanks! There is only one lapradei who does it often. The rest don't do it, as far as I have seen. My one eyed endli is called "eenoog" what stands for one eye in Dutch. QUOTE=rumblesushi]brilliant looking bichir community Loubard.

Have you experienced any aggression? The only bichirs I've had that were aggressive were endlicheri and lapradei.

I have experienced some agression in the form of fin nipping. But that's all. The endli was one eyed when I bought him. There wild caught so it might have happend a long time ago.

Hey those are some wonderful bichers! Is that orange gravel you're using? I've never seen that before and it works so well for your bicher tank! I had no ideas bichers bury themselves in gravel...that pic is TOO cute
