How long have you had the ornate?? The ones I've had were much the same until I left them alone for a few months, then they started eating like pigs. I've gone through it several times with my younger ones... I have a "tank promotion" idea. They start in the 10, when they get big they go to a 20, then to a 29, and so on. Takes them awhile to adjust to the new tank, and until then, just enough to get by.

by far the best collection of bichirs i've seen,love em all. hilarrrrrrrious pic of the cat. my sisters cat pulls the same type of things, chubby cat that eats my dogs food sometimes then plops on the floor and lays on her back sprawled out. she tries to sit on her haunches (sp?) like a person would on the ground too it's hilarious but because she's chubby she usually ends up gradually rollin over to one side

In the 3rd pic on the first post, what kind of cat is that? The face looks a lot like an electric cat.
I recently put an e cat in my African tank. It ate one of my African knife's eyes and 3 congo tetras. He now has his own tank.
