If the fish looks good, Then that is all that matters really. The value is in the eye of the beholder. Those are some nice looking rays Leost. They will come out to be great when they grow larger. I love the big spots.

me too. im very curious to see what they have to say.. one of them pm'ed asking where i got these BD at and the other has a thread trying to differentiate the two.... went on the link had nothing to do with the tail??????


personally... you have to see the two rays swimming next to each other in person. the high definition quality of BD's is nothing of reg leo...once i got my first BD... WOW. like night and day compared to reg leo

Might be their young age but they kinda look look like leo x bd.

BD and BD/Leo should have same type of tail, they are all belongs to p13. only different of BD and BD/Leo is their intensity of side spot and base color, BD have more side spot and are more black base color, while BD/Leo is lesser side spot and more grayish base color. only if they have henlei blood inside, then the tail will be more slender and tail fin not as short and high as pure p13.

Only disagreement is I love the short tails on P13's

I noticed that reg leo's have a spoon shaped tip and a bd has more of a spear shaped tip? Is this a possibility?? iono..just trying to figure out any differences in the two fish myself.
