Last night I picked up a birchir birchir and what could be a birchir bichir x lapradei, I got them both settled into the tank with everyone else, there was a little bit of pushing going on between them but then it settled.

This morning I wake up and my original birchirs ( a saddled and a lapradei) are playing ping pong with the new ones, sending them up and down the tank after nipping their tails.

Is this just them sorting out who's on top or should I be worried?

The hierarchy is being established. Just keep a eye out and keep some places to hide.

If it gets too nipped up then may need to separate. Especially if it stops eating. The pic above don't look to bad.

Thank you for the advice, I guess I was jumping the gun a bit, since this morning everyone has been good with each other. Bring on feeding time ;)
