Just checked out Infinite Aquatics. I kind of perfer to pick out my own fish even if it cost more. He has got awsome prices of Leichardti Arowanas though.

How do you "pick out your own" if there is only one arowana?

ur too far from infinite aquatics.. its in so cal.. good vendor tho..

Not at all the place Exotic aquarium in Sacramento had 2 ten to twelve inch blacks and 3 babies still with their black coloration. The one I picked has got good barbs, scales, color, and was not overly skitish. He had one torn fin even though it was only noticable under close examination and the fin should mend. He was in good condition and I decided to make the purchase.

Just checked on the Black Arowana and after day one he's doing great. He first took sanctuary near and around some floating plants near the over flows. Later today he started swimming in the in flow currents of the tank. I checked on him when the lights went out and he's making laps from one end of the tank to the other, with fish around him and doing this confidently (not dashing or acting skitish).

rich has millions of black haha idk which 1 to choose

ya i would recomend rich, he has nice black aros i picked one up from him about almost 2 weeks ago, its 13" and doing great eating and not too scared at all!!
