I picked up a new oscar the other day.
It was labeled as a "Blood oscar" , it looks like an albino red oscar to me. probaly the same thing, but with a fancy name. im wondering if this guy is going to look like the ones in the pic below when he matures. i know only time will tell, but im dieing to come across one like in the picture below! his body is a solid red/orange with no breaks in the color, so i dont think it will fade or end up lookin like a n albino ter oscar, even his lips are red! he is only 2-3 inches right now.
any one have any idea??

first 2 pics are of my oscar, 3rd pic is the type of oscar i'd like to have.

yup he would end up looking like the ones in the below pic it is an albino red oscar

There also called "" Fire Oscars"". I got one there so cool I'll post my pics later. I got mine for 50 bucks. There RARE!

That's not a true bloody red. "True" bloody reds have a much more intesified color, I'll see if can't dig up some pics- these guys were just labeled as so to trick buyers into buying the overly expensive, falsely named, but normal fish.

they are really beautiful! could they possibly be dyed? and will lose that coloring once they get bigger?

I was thinking that also. but this fish is less than 3 inchs, so im hoping he will get his color as he matures.
