Thanks, how you been. Anything new in the works for you.
I have been good. I got engaged to a beautiful woman. Now I am consolodating my fish tanks and ponds.I just put my kelberi growouts in my big tank by themslves, and they are growing faster. I did lose 2 big azuls outside in my ponds due to a late season cold snap. sucks. Oh well, 2 left and they seem to have paired. :naughty:

Let me make a note, "Add The True Guapote" to the friends list...LOL..HAHAHA =-(

Seriously though. I've preached this time & time again. networking is by far the best thing you can do for yourself in this hobby. You just never know where you will get your next fish from. The person you may combat with today could be the person who has you holy grail the next.

It's not about ass kissing or brown nosing but just being friendly. I've stated in the past that this is not a competition on who's got the baddest, best Cichla in the hobby, maybe a little bit of bragging but NOT a competition. If my pictures can influence someone to set up a tank better then mine, that's awesome. As this was the same motivation for me when I use to see many of the older hobbyist who had kept Cichla's in the past.

What's funny is that i think that from all the SUB Groups in the Hobby, the Peacockbass group has the most politics, drama and arguments amongst anyone else.

This is not something new as the heated drama was also present way before I got into the PBASS Game. I was in the background just watching. I'm sure many can remember the oldschool dramas that use to take place.

I guess drama just comes with the territory. I like to consider myself the U.N as I try to make peace with both sides....... I guess it's just part of my Libra sign being a scale.

A big amen to that, this is an excellent forum for discussion but man sometimes it just gets out of hand! It's not about who has the best or the most but who is a good member of the forum, helping those in need, furthering our knowledge of cichla, and just being a decent board member.

Very true...I still remember the days of PeacockBass (Neal)...he was a victim of his own passion...he just loved the cichla way too much. :D
Anyone remember those feeding vids in his monster pond?

I think he summed it up quite well for all the pbass fanatics out there though...

"Cichla 4 Lyfe"

Joey,
Great additions!! Darren is a good man...he and I had a nice conversation the other day. A good friend indeed...always been one of my favorites.
Sorry to hear about your Xingu.....I have another surprise for you :D
Nice thread.....I certainly remember all that old school drama. It made us all closer though, IMO.
Anyway.....Neal was good kid, and of course I remember his feeding videos...they were of the pinima that I sent him :D
Cheers,
--Brian
