I recently purchased a black ghost knife, it is barely 3" and I thought that it was pale because it is so young but I guess I have one of the new variations. I am not sure if it is just pale or brown or albino, it still has the white tail, but the rest of the body is almost translucent, I can see the the pink of its internal organs.

This topic is kind of... old... but to answer your question anyway, the BGK you have is a Black Ghost Knife, not a Brown, and it is not albino, just a different color variant, which the BGK has a few of them. I don't think they have a specific name for the color, other than a Black Ghost Knife, lol. Nice looking Knife btw. Def. going to be a looker at 18".
