Mike.. can you tell us any of the specifics on these rays,,, I assume they are WC? Was there a middle man involved or did you get these straight from the exporter and if so what were they labeled as? What region were they collected etc. Im curious to know because they have great patterns. Alot of the trade names are started from the end users or the sellers in the importing country and the exporters later catch on to these names and up the prices after catching on etc For instance Marble motoros were not called Marble Motoros in Colombia but have been called that in the usa for 10 plus years. If you purchased 20 motoros 75 percent would arrive heavily marbled. recently the word marble motoro has been seen on colombian lists and the price is double what a regular motoro sells for. The exporters saw the rays being sold for a higher dollar amount ny the importers after they were cherry picked out of regular motoro batches and decided to cash in on there end. Unfortunately when you educate the exporters it cost you money...

anyway great looking rays.... I was curious of they had any fancy names from the river

Yes there wild caught, Straight from exporter and imported by myself. They were called by the exporter SAO FELIX BLACKDIAMOND and ECLIPSE P13 no other names were used. As for the region they were collected in I have no idea.

In Brazil all black rays are called 'fogo' rays ( which means 'fire' )

Hope this helps
