New Brokopondo vs. Farmie Genetic Slurry ?

Update :

Doing well, eating mainly krill with a scattered food stick... just happy to have them off frozen...

they are 8”ish - getting a copper / red tone to them....

seem to be packing on some size, the brokopondo are eating better than the rest!

i’ve been trying to sex them....

as far as i can tell-

2 - mono farmie - 1m - 1f
2 - ocel farmie - 2f
2 - kels 1m/1f
2 - orino - 1m / 1f
2 - brokopondo - 1m/1f

To get a true sex you have to get a good look at their vents, I had a male that turned out to be a female lol. They look like they are really loving that powe head. How has the Mp40 held up on the 3/4"?? I'm still on the fence.

they have been good!

i got them and the L2’s at a discount via tank builder... no warrenty though, so there’s that... as he was the “original purchaser”

they fell a few times one piece of plastic broke, they’ve not fallen since i anchored them and changed the settings... slowing them down to lowest setting from highest creates a vibration and they can fall...

they run high speed at times during the day to kick up all the poo and un eaten food from the bottom.... which is primarily why i wanted /like them...

i wanted to put them on the back on either side of the overflow, i have 1” here sadly and would need mp60’s - lots of flow!

it’s hard to say but the fish may appreciate variations in the water flow?

they are good though, happy with purchase and product line!

these two are my best eaters....

it’s been good watching this group grow...

my ocel’s are dicks to other fish and their kind...

the orino’s can be species dicks...

the brokopondo are pretty peaceful
