New Buetti not eating...

Haha yup. When I first got the SDs, I thought they wouldn't add much to the bio load since they don't get that big. What they lack in size they make up in appetite though lol. I try not to rehome my fish as much as I can take care of them so I just add as more filters and water changes if possible. On the 125g, I'm running two Aquatop CF-500 and two Emperor 400. I thought of adding a sump but worried about overflows in case of power outages.

I guess I'll give it until next week. If the Buetti still won't eat, I may put it on my grow out tank with the angel fish and BGK. Or move my Oscar back in the 125g and use his current tank as a grow out for the two small polys. Just hoping he/she is just still acclimating and not sick...
 
I think its just acclimating.

Funny i hated thise sd's souch i would secretly root for a metae that would chase them around
 
My little 3.5 inch ornate isn't eating much either. I have it in a nursery net to try and fatten him up but he isn't like the Senegal and seems to just hate this small environment... I hate to try and let him out I don't want the Senegal to eat a $60 meal.... last night I dropped in some smashed frozen shrimp pieces (very small pieces) in the hopes he would gobble them up, but he mostly ignored it.
