I seem to never have luck with mosses. What was the reasoning on chopping it up? Does it help it to regrow? Is this the step I'm missing?

I got the idea from Amano. The idea is that it’s easier to plant which turned out to be true. Others blend it in a blender and mix with water. They use a brush to “paint” the moss mix on. I figured with the porosity of the epiweb, cutting it wild he sufficient. Wish me luck!

Picked up some Nephrolepis Exalta (Boston Fern) and some Selaginella Kraussiana (Spikey Moss).

Some pics after they were planted. I wrapped the roots of both in some sphagnum peat moss after the dirt was washed off and they were placed in the corners. I hope these grow out the way they are intended to.

Just have to get some air plants for the high branches and some anubias/bucephelandra for the rocks/wood that are submerged.
