New Build ~ 600 Gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Agreed. Yeah, I think he will have the place to himself for a long while. Just afraid anything else would just get sucked up in the filter (he's had all sorts of small fish in the tank with him, he's never gone after them--so thats not a concer).

Nothing wrong with a nice comfy home for a big fish. You're doing right by him.

The nursery is almost done. It's modular to play with in the future.

The overflows (1") and return (3/4") are pond hose. Fish safe and flexible. Overflow is a CPR 1,600 GPH.

After putting on the lower support beams I really don't care for it. Decided to make some cheap skin to clean it up. These are plastic Home Depot sheets and magnetic strips.

I haven't figured out how to make the top cover yet but would like to do something along the above lines.

Having that tank on those shelving stands would make me nervous. Those things are not that sturdy.

Please let me know what you think of the CPR overflow. I would like to know if those are a good reliable option.

Everything is looking great!
