probably not. those cheap flashes are a waste of money. you need a flash that can be used off camera. a nikon would be best with your camera but they are quite expensive. the well known third party flashes will do. it needs to read the flash thru ir or wired to the hot shoe. two flashes are best but one can work. here is my set up for tank photography.
