im gonna have it checked i said..that...and yeah i kno that its gonna cost alot to fix..im not always gonna be using it for track.just maybe every so often...its just a car to have for now to fix and play with..until i can save up for my evo 8...

Honestly? Start saving for your EVO now, and have fun with the maxima instead of getting a second car.

There's a lot you can do with a SR20DET or a SA20DET in the maxima.

note that with track cars, besides the overal cost of the mods that you'll put in the car for the track, you'll most likely be beating pretty bad on it, and you'll have to replace brakes, and tires a good deal. and with the danger of the occasinal "oopsey" in the track wall, you'll have to pay for that work.

it will cost you way more than you think to keep it running, and another car at the same time.

Not only that but you'll wear the clutch/engine and other parts you won't even think of way faster.

If you want a track car get an old fb rx7 or even n/a fc rx7. FWD econo cars don't make very good track cars.

santoury the maxima is stayin the way it is...the eclipse i want cause its cheap and 500 is nothing...yes an rx7 is nice..and the evo is later on in life maybe a few years..

Have you checked class' for track events/associations to see what catagory you'd be racing in? Might be the deciding factor if you're dead set on having a track car. But GL. Side note I used to have a 1st gen talon.(and a 2nd gen eclipse) Nice car but I hate anything Miti****i produced...

im a mitsubishi fan...the only track that kids near me go to is in new hampshire...its just kids that race each other..but legally...i forgot the name ..
