New Cat..... Niger?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow. Thank you for this! Never paid attention to Rhinodoras. As you said, I thought they were smaller and rather unremarkable catfish. I wonder if this specimen among the R. dorbignyi is like what we have seen with say irwini - some are striking back and yellow while almost all are light brown and dark brown.

Not sure? But that’s part of the fun :)

Best of luck restarting your tank! We'd all love to see how it goes.

May I suggest loaches? Easily as long lived as ripsaws (we're talking up to 50 years for some species such as clowns), colorful, active, tons of personality.
In a 4,164 liter tank you have pretty much limitless loach options.

I love clown loaches! Unfortunately I have 7 large dats that would snack on them. I think I will get about 10 of them for my 450. I have a weather loach that is fun to watch in there. Thanks for the suggestion!

No problem! Enjoy your weather loach, they're awesome too.

Genius? He’s going great. Now the largest fish in the tank at 3’ and 18 pounds. Eating silversides, Brussels sprouts, strawberries, and scorpions. He loves the spicy stuff :)
3 ft! That’s pretty big! I thought that AUL stayed under 3ft in aquariums. Guess i was wrong.
