hey , i just found this beauty in the shop and i couldnt resist buying it its a Clarias ! im hoping this fellah wont get become snacks hes alot bigger then the ones i had earlier! really cool cat active swimmer and does amazing stuff lol , in the pic he dug himself in the sand just yesterday he dug himself all the way down with hes head first only thing sticking out was hes "tail" !

I'm so jealous! Wish they weren't illegal over here... I've always really liked them. Wonderful photos too! Keep us updated!

What size tank is he in? Tankmates?

Thanks all! Yeah its a walking catfish , i got him for like 6 $ theyr really cheap fish here in sweden.
Hes in a 175g tank with (RTC and 3 snakeheads) im not sure how fast this guys grow but its not as fast as the RTC obviously will be fun too see this guy growin tho :) not sure how big he is right now but somewhere between 7-10 " i guess.
 
They tend to be agressive and harass other fish. Be on the look out.

But a great pick up.
 
haha.. what's up with this tank man? are you just trying to make our american friends jealous by buying things they can't have?

I used to have one of those a while back and they actually do harass other fish, not that I personally try to mess with a redline or a rtc.. but these guys suffer from some serious hubris!
