i love catfish no idea on what yours is but i have had much luck with blood worms and earth worms for mine

Yes earthworms would be a good start, chopped or whole depending on size of what your feeding it too 
I'd say its looks to be Phalacronotus sp, possibly a young P apogon
x2 LFS has one right now i was thinking of getting it.

Good eye
I largely skipped Phalacronotus because of their very characteristic head and shoulder/back shape. A good side shot would have been helpful from the start - all we are getting so far are the pics from semi-above which don't show the characteristic rise from head to back. But yes, they lack a dorsal altogether.
