i got a Heteropneustes fossilis the other day from wes. its a small lil bugger. got him in a lil hamster cage in the tank with alot of bloodworms in there. eatting like a champ. i was wondering who got the other two at the west coast meet? and if anyone else raised these eel catfish and if anyone had any information on them?

They're cool little cats. I've only seen them for sale in 2 places, Wes's being one of them. The last time I saw them for sale was probably 7 years ago in a fish store in Sherman Oaks. I remember reading up on them before. I believe they get about 12" and are venomous so be careful where your hands go in the tank. The venom is not strong enought o kill anyone, but will put you in a lot of pain for a week from what I've heard.
The venom is located in the pectoral spines and I think the dorsal spine as well. I don't think they're aggressive so you fish should be safe. It's just their defense mech.
The pectoral fins are the fins on the side that help them move along. If a predator were to come at it from behind or side, it would curl around and envenomate it's victim. Most larger fish do not discriminate what can fit in their mouth. "Catch first, ask later" seems to be most predators moto.
