New catfishes!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd start worrying about the smaller tank mates. TSNs are notoriously predatory no matter how well you feed them.

Your tank is totally awesome. We have the same taste. Love your choice in catfish. I have a Corruscans too- Awesome catfish. I have never see one of those pati's before- awesome cat too! I'll be keeping an eye out on your updates!
BTW- how did you lift a 6ft wide tank? That tank empty has to weigh close to 2000+lbs!

Also what is your favorite catfish and what happened to the wallago Leeri?

luckily just about everything is the tank is over 20"

Including the dat and the flagtail? The ones that are not included in that "just about" are the ones I'd rehome unless they are disc-like shaped, like a pacu.

Wow those cats are awesome! What're the total dimensions of the tank? I'm guessing something around 10x6x3.

the dat is 16-17" in length and 11" in depth. there is no chance the corruscans will get that and the flag tail is going to a friend soon.

Always awesome checking ur stuff bro! Your collection always seems to top mine! I gotta step my cat game up real bad!

Off topic question tho, since ur tank is about the same size as one of mine. How do you clean the sand/gravel? Ive been contemplating for quite a while bout putting sand on my big tank:/

Would you recommend it or am i better off with bare bottom?

There's only way to clean it- with a really long gravel vacuum. You can use a clear standard size tube and glue it to a longer PVC pipe and then end cap with a nipple fitting for your hose.
