New cats (pics)

these are the first catfish i have ever owned. there are 3 pimelodus pictus, which i bought at my lfs today. each one is about the same size as my serpae tetras right now
they are very active and skittish and they are already my favorite fish to date

Very nice! Pictus are very active Cats, but they are known to get ich quite easily. Just keep the temperature around 82-84

i highly recommend em, theyre already great cant wait till they start eating, ima fatten them up!

Nice little pictus you have there, they look healthy. Word of warning though, you may find that they "outgrow" the 30g. Though they are small fish they are very active. I had to keep mine in a 30g temporarily and every time it spooked it would frantically swim around and smack into the glass, I won't keep them in anything less than a 55g anymore.
