New Cedar Root Driftwood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah i do hope it works i know that cedar contains Plicatic acid which is a major contributer to asthma and a natural insecticide. Also i know that cedar oil is very toxic, but you should have to worry about that as long as it was an old and already dead piece of wood, or has already been in water for an exstensive period of time. But just in case it's not here is a list of what it will do to humans.

Airways and lungs - Breathing difficulty, Throat swelling (may also cause breathing difficulty)
Eyes, ears, nose, and throat - Severe pain in the throat, Severe pain or burning in the nose, eyes, ears, lips, or tongue, Loss of vision
Gastrointestinal - Severe abdominal pain, Vomiting, Burns of the esophagus (food pipe), Vomiting blood, Blood in the stool
Heart and blood vessels -Hypotension (low blood pressure) develops rapidly, Collapse
Skin - Irritation, Burn
Nervous system - Seizures, Stupor, Coma

thanks brady, we went with the baking method. baked it at 250 for about 5 hours, so hopefully it will work out. We got the rest of the tree on the porch if your interested in some driftwood lol. we could even cut up some pieces for you. ha

Man I didnt think cedar was that toxic. When I was a kid I used to play in it all the time and smell the crap out of it (had a hamster). Maybe thats what I am the way I am today?
