New Channa Micropeltes Species

Nice channa micro..which part of sarawak ? d pattern at the middle section will become a lateral black band as d fish become larger. judging from d pic i would assume this fish is approx 2-3kg and it's from a pond or lake or reservoir. correct me if i'm wrong ?
 
kch, near Matang. haha..its nearly reach 2 kg and its from Sarawak river. anyway, i saw most of the same size fish in internet already have this black lateral line.
 
surprising it's from a river as d body is short n fatter. anyway keep it nicely who knows it turn out a beauty !! post more pics..
 
latest update of my fish..with a grown back damaged fin ...after recovery from rotten fin..nearly died. consulted LFS..in order for it to regrow back beautifully need to cut it off
