Hi.......

It is defintily asiatica!

The are different types of asiatica........

I know 4 of them!

1. with white dots everywhere
2. with red and white dots (often seen in Japanese pages)
3 without any dots (yours)
4 with a red belly (from Vietnam)


if this is all Ch. asiatica.........only scientists can say!

But I do not thinks so.....

Maybe asiatica is a species complex,too!

Okay thanks pascal! i guess it is then , what celcius do they prefer? i got around 25-26celcius now im my aquaria, and how big this guys get?
 
The last pic you posted, definitely can see it's asiatica. Nice specimans, haven't seen asiaticas like that, ones without dots, as pallestopheles stated. Good pickup!

Your temperature ist too high........

Switch off the heater!

Asiatica is subtropical ,lives in China and do not need high temps!

I have seen asiatica without dots at the Chatuchak market in Bangkok!

Hey.. humm nah man il stick with 24-25 Celcius maybe i think they will do fine beacsue some parts of china , and espacially in summer its very Hot ... so i think it will be good :) thanks anyway

Origin: China, middle and lower Chang Jiang (Yangtze) basin, and Xun River basin in Guangxi and Guangdong provinces.

Temperament: Very Aggressive to others and there own kind

Company: Itshould not be kept with fishes smaller then themselves and never with fishes that are less then 2/3 the size of it.

Water parameters: Temperature 18-24c another sub tropical species pH 6-7.5

Feeding: accepts most meaty food
