yes, i know the circumstances that caused their issues. and it's not open for discussion.

What are you supplimenting?

tongue? to treat them i'm doing 30 - 35 gallon water changes daily (they are in my 150 that has been empty since last fall). i'm adding pimafix with each water change (which reminds me, i need to stop at the LFS on the way home from the dentist tomorrow).

and they are mostly ignoring the massivore that came with them, the only thing they have eaten so far is shrimp and some pollock fillets. they even ignored the frozen krill that all my other fish go nuts for.

i haven't added salt to the tank, because i think it may be irritating to their eyes in the condition they are in. And the temp is at 86.

i tried feeding the massivore that came with them and only the largest mono ate a few, and they fouled the water.. we had to do major gravel vacuuming on a tank that had no good reason to have crap in the rocks. all of my substrate is either new or has been washed, rinsed, baked at 450 degrees and then rinsed again.

they won't go to the top of the tank for food.. and they won't pick it up off the bottom. so aro sticks are out of the question and anything that touches the floor is wasted.. the blind ones i have to pretty much put the food in their mouths.. or at least touch it to their lips to get them to try to eat. one has some vision and tries to bite at the food but always misses..

so every other day i have to come out here in my undies and reach into the tank and hand food directly to 3 of the 5 fish.. and to get food to them, i have to feed the big ones and get them mostly satisfied before i can get my hand in the water.

this is quite comical to watch.. i'm short and round and i have to stand on a step stool or a ladder to get that much of me into the tank.

Sounds like they are getting what they need :) Now it is up to a higher power :)
