New cichlid idea

Hi my jack Dempsey is being the bully of my tank and won't leave my poor clown knife alone. I was wondering if you guys can help me to find a different type of cichlid that is less aggressive but still interactive and grows to about the same size as a jack thanks

no, lower the water temp>. Higher water temps make a lot of cichlids aggressive. Lower it to 72 F or 74 F. Anything above 76 F will make any cichlid meaner.

Well I had to get rid of my jack today and he will be missed. He was going to be my very first fish that I grew grow a baby but now hopefully he finds a good home.;(
