Excellent, Lee! I subscribed. I'm glad that you are always here to share your great knowledge and photography with fellow MFK members. I sincerely hope that this endeavor is fruitful. I will definitely look forward to more publications. It's apparent the amount of time and patience that you took to put this sample issue together. It should only get better from here. Good Luck!

Excellent magazine, Lee. I thoroughly enjoyed the article on the Regani. I just picked up two Regani "Pinto" and noted that they were hands down the most elusive CA cichlid I have ever owned. After housing them in a 100 gallon tank by themselves, I rarely saw them, so decided to move them into a larger 400 gallon tank where they immediately became social butterflies. Great work. Looking forward to seeing more.

Cheers Mo, That means a lot!

Regani are renowed for their skittishness, they seem to go through this phase around the 3-5 inch mark. Once they get to semi adult / adult, they're much more out going. I believe they're a fish that requires a bit of patients when it comes to their development.

I sure you will do them proud, look forward to the photos!

BTW, you have mail. ;)

Cheers, thanks alot.

The mag is free, I not sure what you need to do regarding the hosting sites rules. I can assure you that I have set no limitations, so hopefully you can download print for personal use etc. All I ask is for people to abide by the copyright rules that are set out on the index page.

The next issue will be annouced sometime later, look out for revelant posts. ;)

Just to let interested parties know, I have re-uploaded an updated version with darker text boxes which should make the text a lot easier to read.

Let me know what you think guys.

Thanks,

Lee.

Great stuff, Lee!

Matt

From about 30 years of keeping and researching these cichlids. Information is gathered from experience, reading reference papers and collaborating with experts in their field. :)

Thank you again for the positive comments. I know there's room for improvement with some parts of the text layout, however these are little niggles easily remedied.

No worries if the project dosen't work out, the beauty of digital publishing is zero overheads. It's all about the hobby and sharing. ;)

Cheers,

Lee.
