New Cichlid Pics

nice fish, your tanks a bit too blue for me though, maybe one less antinic bulb, would love to see the true colours of your tex even though he looks nice atm
 
I have 2 "regular" bulbs and 2 "blue" bulbs. The pictures make the tank look a lot bluer than real life. I may play around with the lighting to see what works best. I'll throw up a full tank shot tonight which may show the tank lighting better.

mine usually turns out blue too.
i think it might just be the camera.
 
is that a normal texas , or is it a pearlscale (carpintis?) nice fish also!

I believe the texas is a carpintis (at least that is what I was told). How can you tell it is a female festae?
