New Clown Knife: I also have questions.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
very nice clown knife... lots of spots.. and very happy to hear he is off of live food already..good job!

Thank you so much!
Hikari Carnivore pellets have worked really well for me changing fish to pellets. Then from the carnivore pellets its easy to move them over to NLS. It works about first time every time. I have converted WC baby(1-3") largemouth bass, peacock bass, LSN, CB tiger shovelnose, this clown knife and a few others. I think it has to do with the powder that coats the pellets or something.

Mine gained spots as it grew? As he was growing they started very faintly and got darker/brighter as he grew more, my new 1 has lots of spots and also stripes on the thickest part of his flanks, will these stay?

ok I got some more questions.
1) what have your experiences been with aggression? Mine has started to nip at my payara and now they have to be separated. My plan for later down the road is the clown knife, florida gar, achara catfish, jack dempsey, and maybe more ornate if he gets over 14". will my clown potentially kill or harass any of the tank mates. I am most worried about the dempsey and the gar.
